I think that was a course that every person working in a healthcare setting should take part in. It was very eye-opening and thought provoking. The most valuable lesson was learning what implicit bias is and how it affects the care we provide and how we view most patients. The strategies provided to prevent bias will be beneficial for me going forward. There are things in this course that I will remember for the rest of my career.
