About us

The Diversity Science Institute was founded by Dr. van Ryn (former Distinguished Professor at OHSU, Professor at Mayo Medical School, and  Director of the Research Program on Equity and Inclusion in Healthcare at the Mayo Clinic) and Dr. John (Jack) Dovidio, Yale University Carl I. Hovland Professor Emeritus of Psychology and Professor Emeritus in the Institute for Social and Policy Studies and of Epidemiology. 

Our training programs are rooted in scientific evidence from the mind sciences and adapted to real-world settings. We are continuously evaluating our programs to ensure that they are cutting-edge and effective.
